Major cities along the DMIC include Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat. Approximately one-third, of the total investment for the DMIC will be directed towards Gujarat. This investment is expected to create job opportunities for around 800,000 people.

The ports of Gujrat will play a crucial role in serving both foreign and local markets. Efforts are being made to establish top-notch connectivity between the ports, various nodes, and the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).
